Intact protein analysis by QTOF high resolution mass spectrometry

As described above, the mass of intact proteins can be determined by QTOF high resolution mass spectrometry with high accuracy. This is a state-of-the art technique to confirm and further resolve the mass as observed by SDS-PAGE or HP-SEC. The deconvoluted mass spectrum of a glycosylated heavy chain is shown here as an example:
