Several monosaccharides can be separated by UHPLC, and additional ones can be added to the method if needed. We have the commercial standards in house to quantify each compound based on the standard curves.
The method works well on a variety of samples, such as monosaccharides in milk, nasal fluid and hydrolyzed lipopolysaccharides for characterization purposes.
